David Childs presents at sold out Society of Food Hygiene and Technology Event

This week’s Society of Food Hygiene and Technology’s (SoFHT) Practical Mangement and Control of Listeria event was a huge success, with an informative and highly respected set of speakers ensuring that delegates took away lots of practical advice to manage, control and sample the environment for Listeria.

Kersia sponsored the event and David Childs, Kersia UK Technical Services and Training Manager, presented on ‘Managing Listeria Through Active Hygiene’. He also took part in panel discussions that explored the continued threat posed to consumer safety by Listeria monocytogenes as well as focusing on controlling and managing this pathogen in the food and dairy industries.

Commentating on the event David said:

“The sold-out event was one of SoFHT’s fastest selling conferences and demonstrates the importance of safely managing listeria in food and dairy industries. Here at Kersia we are working with customers throughout the ready to eat sector, proving training and advice on Listeria management, as well as auditing support, practical methods to prevent and control Listeria, as well as providing advice and systems for environmental sampling to ensure control measures are working correctly. We look forward to supporting the Society on future events.”
