Sarah O’Grady and Lucinda Phillips from Kersia UK's Farm Hygiene team attended this week’s Meat Business Women event in London. The theme was ‘The Power of Us’ - ‘By working together as an empowered community, collaborating with allies and drawing inspiration from other industries, we can amplify our impact and continue building an inclusive sector for everyone’. The event included talks on various topics including leadership in various sectors including retail, the meat industry and food service. There was also a detailed talk on The Power of Collective Change and a global update from the Meat Business Women team.
Sarah and Lucinda met with suppliers, partners and customers from the meat industry and enjoyed sharing their experiences with industry peers which they will be sharing with the wider Kersia UK team.
The day was jam packed full of insights into the sector, as well as a detailed introduction and update from the leading chair of the Meat Business Women organisation.
