The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology Summer Conference
The Society of Food Hygiene & Technology (SOFHT) recently hosted its summer conference at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, and Kersia UK’s Technical Team were delighted to be a part of it.
David Childs, Marek Miszta and Paul Gregory hosted an exhibition stand showcasing Kersia's technical support, comprehensive training packages and our latest innovative products.
The event was a fantastic opportunity to network with like-minded professionals from the food hygiene industry, reconnect with colleagues both new and old, and engage with our valued customers and strategic partners.
The highlight of the day was hearing from guest speaker, Professor Chris Elliott from Queen’s University Belfast. Professor Elliott provided an insightful overview of the major challenges facing the food industry in terms of safety and authenticity in these ever-changing times.
Commentating on the day, David Childs said:
“The SOFHT summer conference provided the opportunity to talk about the work we do here at Kersia UK with people from the sector and share valuable insights. It was also very interesting to listen to Professor Chris Elliott and learn more about his thoughts on challenges facing the food industry.”
