The FLUXUS F401 is the ideal portable clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter for long-term measurement of liquid flows, where it can be moved easily between sampling sites. Depending on the programmed measurement interval the FLUXUS F401 can operate autonomously for several months. This makes it suitable for analysing total water flow volumes and leak detection campaigns, where regular measurements are required over a longer period of time.
The FLUXUS F401 is installed without process interruption and the installation can be completed within a few minutes. Thereafter, it delivers accurate and highly repeatable measurements that are not affected by drift. Due to its excellent low flow capability (down to 0.01 m/s), the FLUXUS F401 is ideally suited for monitoring CIP sets for determining flow velocities, as well as determining total water use on automated washers and factory hygiene water supplies. The strong signal output and the noise suppression technology make it possible to use the FLUXUS F401 on a wide range of pipe sizes and materials, including stainless steel and plastics.
All parts of the FLUXUS F401 have been designed to ensure utmost robustness for regular heavy-duty use in industrial / F&B manufacturing conditions. The metal sheathing of the transducer cable ends protects them against strong bending or cuts and ensures tangle-free operation. The six-metre cable length of the IP68 transducers allows for the installation of the transducers in the most inaccessible locations. The transmitter is housed in a robust case and has IP67 protection.
