InSite™ Rapid Environmental Salmonella Test is an easy-to-use, self-contained, environmental Salmonella test.
Each device contains a liquid medium formulated with growth enhancers and chromogenic compounds selective for Salmonella species. Simply swab the test area and incubate. A change in colour after 24-48 hours of incubation is considered presumptive positive for Salmonella species.
A mini incubator and the 12 well block is required (TEST0107 & TEST0107/01 - sold separately) or for larger swab volumes a Lab Format Incubator and two 35 well blocks (TEST0125 & TEST0125/02 - sold separately) can be used to allow up to 70 swabs to be incubated.
No additional sample handling of the sample is necessary.
