WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course gives detailed and practical training for Technical, Quality and Hygiene Managers who have no formal training in microbiology but have responsibility for environmental sampling and the prevention of microbiological contamination within a food and beverage manufacturer.

COURSE
The course is designed to provide delegates with a greater understanding of microbiology in theory and practice. The course will be run over one day at the University of Lincoln Centre of Excellence in Agri-Food Technology site and includes a blend of presentations and practical sessions in Microbiology.

ASSESSMENT
Assessment is through participation in group activities. This course is broadly comparable to the level of study required for Level 4 NVQ/SVQ.
